Description
Probably my favorite work showing the sinking of the Britannic, completed September 1999. The ship finally rolls on its side, shedding its funnels and everything not attached to the deck. The actual sinking probably wasn't this violent.

Great picture - oddly enough the sinking angle reminds me of a lithograph of the loss of HMS Victoria in 1893 after a collision with HMS Camperdown off Tripoli, and also a picture of the end of the CSS Alabama in the English Channel in June 1864 after a fight with the USS Kearsarge.
